How to program a garage door keypad
Press the learn button on the motor unit, then within thirty seconds enter the PIN you want on the keypad and press enter. If nothing happens, the keypad battery is flat — that is the cause far more often than the programming.

- A fresh battery for the keypad

- Change the keypad battery first if the backlight is dim or absent.
- Press and release the learn button on the motor unit.
- Within thirty seconds, type your four-digit PIN on the keypad and press enter.
- The opener light blinks or clicks. Test it from outside with the door closed.
- Pick a PIN that is not your house number or the year.This one opens your garage from the street.
