Garage door opens by itself
It is almost never somebody else's remote. On any opener made since the mid-1990s the code changes every press, so a neighbour cannot open your door by accident. What it usually is: a stuck button, a short in the wall-button wire, or a remote wedged in something in a car or a coat pocket.
Do this first
Unplug the opener for a minute. If the door stops behaving that way while it is unplugged, the fault is in the opener or its buttons rather than anything outside.
